Gain a deeper understanding of legal issues or, develop a specilisation in law through UCC’s LLM (Business & Financial Law), a course designed to introduce you to the contemporary legal and regulatory issues that govern international business and finance. You will learn core modules to include critical issues in the field, and can choose from our wide range of additional, optional modules that address themes like the World Trade Organisation, Corporate Social Responsibility and Banking Law.

Gains a deeper understanding of legal issues or, develop a specilisation in law through UCC’s General LLM, and since law has diverse areas of specialization, we offer you an extensive flexibility if you opt to take one of our specialist pathways that focus on different topics.

Align your pathway to your major research strength in areas such as legal education, international legal research and human rights or you can simply study modules from all these areas if you decide to pursue the general LLM. You may choose to either write a 15,000 word thesis or conduct a work-based project that will give you valuable experience in dealing with a specific legal issue in addition to the optional modules Whether you are a lawyer, a law graduates looking for career development or even if you have no legal background, this course is right for you as you will be trained in the analytical and legal skills necessary for your interest.
