Introduction to Family Counselling
UCC Executive Certificate Course

This course introduces students to the basic skills and techniques that are often used in this therapeutic approach as well as its major theories. The course exposes students to some of the major challenges that family experiences and how family counseling help to alleviate those issues. The course is also intended to enable students to understand the importance of the family in the society and provides a sound basis for understanding and working with grief as a counselor, social worker or any other capacity where such knowledge is essential.
