The Horace Roberts Memorial Scholarship
The Horace Roberts Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a strong passion for ethics, integrity, and principled leadership in both their academic and personal pursuits. The scholarship recognizes outstanding academic excellence and is presented to the student attaining the highest grade point average in the designated core subject area related to ethics and professional responsibility. Applicants for the Horace Roberts Memorial Scholarship must:
- Be enrolled as a student at University of the Commonwealth Caribbean;
- Demonstrate a strong interest in ethics, integrity, and leadership;
- Attain the highest grade point average in the designated ethics-related core subject area
- Demonstrate good character, professionalism, and ethical conduct;
- Show leadership potential and meaningful contribution to the university or wider community.
Application Requirement
Applicants may be required to submit a brief reflective letter or essay outlining:
- Why ethics is important in education, leadership, and professional life;
- How ethical values have influenced their personal development;
- The ways in which they intend to contribute positively to society through ethical leadership and responsible citizenship.
