BSc. in Applied Psychology


The Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology gives students foundational knowledge of psychological theory and research methods and how they are utilized in real world situations. Psychology is the study of human minds, experiences and relationships. It is a fascinating lens through which we can examine and change the world we live in. In this programme we will encourage you to engage with psychological research and its applications. As you progress, you will deepen your understanding of the personal and social relevance of this lively and contested field of study. The B.Sc. Applied Psychology aims to offer students the opportunity to study issues and concerns relevant to Psychology in the 21st century and apply psychological evidence and theories to real world situations.


Prospective students must possess 5 CSEC subjects at grades I, II or III, including Mathematics and English Language.


The Bachelor of Applied Psychology includes 120 credit hours of coursework plus 10 credit hours of internship at the lower level, with an emphasis on academic/theoretical material as well as skills and practice experience. The programme duration is four (4) years full-time and four and a half (4 ½) years part-time.
