Thanks UCC, I feel Blessed – Dr. Street Forrest

It’s official, Dr. Marlene Street Forrest, CD, JP, Phd (Hon).  The affable Managing Director of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) was conferred with the honorary doctoral degree in Public Policy at the virtual 2020/2021 Commencement Ceremony  of the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) on July 18, 2021, and she is elated.

While she has received many accolades and awards for her work with the JSE, Dr. Street Forrest did not see the UCC honour coming.  Her reaction: “This was a welcome surprise.  I did not expect to be considered but it makes me feel so blessed and appreciated.

The UCC is an institution that prides itself on integrity and high standards – this honorary degree could not have come from a better place.  I receive it for me and the persons who invested in me.”

Dr. Street Forrest, has pledged to continue to play her part in getting Jamaica further recognition internationally and propelling capital influences into the country
