In 1996 IMS, a subsidiary of the UCC, began forming some unique local and international alliances that became integral to its success in Jamaica. The following list details all current institutions and bodies the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean has membership with.

The American Council on Education (ACE) The American Council on Education (ACE) is the United States' most influential, respected, and visible higher education association. ACE represents nearly 1,800 college and university presidents and the executives at related associations, and are the only major higher education association to represent all types of U.S. accredited, degree-granting institutions

The International Association for University Presidents (IAUP)

The International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) is an association of university chief executives from higher education institutions around the world. Membership is limited to those individuals who serve as presidents, rectors or vice-chancellors at regionally accredited colleges or universities.

The Commonwealth & OAS Consortia of Universities The Organization of American States is the world’s oldest regional organization. The Organization uses a four-pronged approach to effectively implement its essential purposes, based on its main pillars: democracy, human rights, security, and development.

The Jamaica Association of Private Tertiary Institutions (JAPTIs)

Founded in 2012, The Jamaica Association of Private Tertiary Institutions (JAPTIs) is a consortium of Jamaican over 30 private tertiary educational institutions.

The Association of Caribbean Tertiary Institutions (ACTI)

ACTI’s mission is to engage all stakeholders in tertiary education, regionally and internationally, for the continued enhancement and development of tertiary education, its services and member institutions; and to provide technical support for all regional tertiary institutions
The Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) The PSOJ was established in 1976. It is a national organisation of private sector associations, companies and individuals working together to promote a competitive and productive private sector.
The Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) The primary (mission) of the Chamber is to ensure the most favourable environment for the effective and profitable operation of businesses. Considerable emphasis is placed on projects which will enhance the development of the wider community.
American Chambers of Commerce of Jamaica American Chambers of Commerce of Jamaica is affiliated to the Chamber of Commerce of the United States of America (COCUSA) in Washington DC, the largest federated business organization in the world, with offices in 65 countries. AMCHAMs work closely with the government of the host country, to facilitate investment and trade.
Quality International Study Abroad Network (QISAN) UCC is an institutional member of Quality International Study Abroad Network (QISAN). QISAN members demonstrate professional and ethical practice in recruitment and delivery of high quality and relevant programmes of study. QISAN members must also demonstrate a caring and supportive attitude to students as well as having a strict code of discipline regarding attendance and study practices.
Human Resource Management Association of Jamaica (HRMAJ) HRMAJ welcomes the unique talents, contributions and diversity of its members, while seeking to engage their participation in choosing its direction, setting priorities, attracting and securing resources achieving our mission. Our mission as an organization seeks to operate as a vibrant and proactive organization that provides value-added services to our members, partners, associates and the wider community; influencing policy, promoting organizational growth and the development of human capital.
The US Council on Higher Education Accreditation – International Division (CHEA/CIGQ) The CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) is a rewarding and important forum for colleges, universities, accrediting and quality assurance organizations and others worldwide to address issues and challenges focused on quality and quality assurance in an international setting. The CIQG provides service designed to assist institutions and organizations in further enhancing capacity for academic quality and advance understanding of international quality assurance.
