Course: Business Plan Practicum

The course provides a rigorous and realistic experience in the process necessary to prepare a business plan that will attract investors to a venture. In this course, students will examine and apply useful, real-world concepts and tools - from generating the original ideas to business planning to persuading funders, partners and customers.

This course allows students to develop the requisite skills to create a plan for a new venture. This course seeks to provide an understanding of business planning techniques that convert ideas into viable new ventures. Students will conduct the market, organisational, operational, strategic and financial analyses required to develop a venture concept and an actionable business plan. Students will examine existing firms’ business planning efforts as well as create a new business plan during the course.
