UCC ANNUAL SPORTS DAY
SPORTS DAY 2025 RECAP
On Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, after a 2 year hiatus, we brought the energy, the spirit, and the competition to the grounds of Merl Grove High School for our annual Sports Day.
The day kicked off with an invigorating Zumba-style warm-up led by the vibrant Miss Neisha Yen-Jones, the perfect way to shake off the morning chill and get everyone moving to the rhythm of the latest dance trends.
From there, the action only intensified. The field came alive with friendly rivalry across a range of events: from classic track and field races and relays to netball, volleyball, basketball, tug-of-war, and the ever-entertaining lime and spoon and bun-eating competitions.
After a full day of enthusiasm, teamwork, and unforgettable moments, it was Aaron (Purple) House that claimed victory. The final point standings were as follows:
