UCC Set to Host Pioneering Virtual Roadshow in December 2024

Kingston, Jamaica, December 11, 2024 – The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) is thrilled to announce its upcoming Virtual Roadshow on December 17, 2024, at 5:30 PM via the university’s YouTube and Zoom. The event, themed ‘Empower Your Dreams… Register Today!’ aims to engage prospective students and their families by showcasing UCC's diverse academic programmes and unique financial aid opportunities.
Following the success of its last physical roadshow in August 2024, UCC is embracing digital innovation to continue reaching out to students both locally and regionally. This virtual format not only reflects UCC’s strategic adaptation to a more digital-oriented world but also highlights its commitment to making education accessible to all through technological advancements. Professor Colin Gyles CD, President of UCC, expressed his enthusiasm for the virtual event, stating, “We are excited about the potential of the Virtual Roadshow to connect with our future students in a dynamic and interactive environment. This event is a testament to UCC’s dedication to innovation and technological advancement, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of educational excellence and accessibility”.
The roadshow will feature a packed agenda, including detailed insights into the university’s academic offerings, student success stories, comprehensive information on scholarships, and the no-guarantor student loans initiative.
