Kingston, Jamaica, April 3, 2025 — The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) has successfully concluded its 2025 Roadshow, ending on a high note at the Half Way Tree Transport Centre in Kingston on March 28. This year's roadshow, themed ‘Roadmap to Your Future’, traversed the island, making impactful stops in Port Antonio, Morant Bay, May Pen, Mandeville, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, and Kingston.

Throughout the seven-city tour, UCC engaged prospective students, parents, and educators, showcasing its wide range of academic programmes and commitment to accessible, quality education. “At UCC, we strive  to develop leaders and create new opportunities. This Roadshow is key to our mission of making higher education accessible and impactful,” stated Professor Colin Gyles, CD, President of UCC.

The March 2025 Roadshow served as a platform for UCC to demonstrate its role in fostering educational equity and leadership. Andrea Wray, Director of Recruitment at UCC, emphasised the initiative's strategic focus, “A part of our mission is addressing the critical disparity in university enrollment rates between genders by reaching out and empowering men to pursue their educational goals through our dynamic programmes.”

As UCC wraps up this year's successful series, plans are already underway to expand its educational outreach and establish new collaborations. “The opening of our new campus in Morant Bay this September marks a transformative step for UCC, and the parish of St. Thomas. It not only expands our reach but also strengthens our mission to bring world-class, innovative education closer to all Jamaicans. This campus will serve as a hub of opportunity and collaboration, empowering students with the tools they need to excel in a rapidly evolving global landscape” added Professor Gyles.
