Spring 2024 Course Evaluation Survey (Pre-EOSA) - Closes on April 13, 2024

Date Published:
April 8, 2024

Dear Students,

The Spring 2024 Course Evaluation Survey (Pre-EOSA) closes on Saturday, April 13, 2024, @ 10:00 PM. Take advantage of this opportunity to improve your academic experiences.

Please be advised that the Class Evaluation period has commenced, and we encourage you to participate to improve your academic and student life experiences at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean. Feedback is required to assess your Spring 2024 class experience and your engagement prior to your End of Semester Assessment scheduled for April 17 - 30, 2024

We are aiming for 95% of the student body from each class to respond to the survey as part of our internal quality assurance standards. YOUR FEEDBACK ensures that your degree meets all the quality assurance requirements and helps maintain our Institutional Accreditation Status with the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ).

The Academic Affairs and Department of Student Support, Career Development, and Alumni Services have observed low responses to the course evaluations due to many concerns raised. As a result, we are implementing new measures to improve service delivery.

Please click on the link below to access the course evaluation survey and share your feedback:

Spring 2024 Course Evaluation Survey (Pre-EOSA)

Note: The analysis and follow-through of support required to facilitate changes may be limited where responses are less than 60% of the student class population for each course. As a result, low participation cannot be accepted as a representative assessment of the course experience. Therefore, please encourage your classmates to participate as we seek to ensure the target is met.

Benefits of Participating in the Course Evaluation Process

1. Your responses are anonymous. You should not feel afraid to share constructive feedback to improve your academic experiences.

2. Your feedback will be assessed by the Department of Student Support, Programme Coordinators, and Heads of Departments to develop intervention plans based on your feedback to improve student participation, lecturer delivery, and academic outcomes.

3. You will be provided with updates on the actions that the UCC will take to improve the delivery of service to you
