The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean facilitates a fully functioning student governance system. This includes the Students' Union with its representative system of government at the national level, and at the level of regional campuses.

The 2023-2024 Student Council elections concluded on July 25th, 2023 with fifteen (15) nominees being confirmed/elected in their respective positions/roles.
