PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION
The Bachelor of Science in Production and Operations Management is designed to equip students with the knowledge, understanding, interpersonal skills and competencies required to make significant contributions as top or middle level administrators and professionals, for success in current and future career development as well as further studies.
The Bachelor of Science in Production and Operations Management (POM) provides participants with a systematic way of managing organizational processes using readily available and practical analytical tool. It is intended for students who are interested in managing the operations of complex, technology integrated contexts, such as manufacturing companies, multi-branch banking, retail chains, international assembly plants, and distribution centers.

- Develop and implement operations management strategies related to the firm’s culture and changing circumstances, plans, situations or from general changes in business practices, that will effectively increase and enhance productivity

- Apply techniques in forecasting and quality control
- Apply techniques of costing and labour productivity
- Apply techniques for occupational health and safety in plant operations
- Apply the principles of materials planning and management

- Apply business knowledge, theories, and insightful practices related to production and operations management
- Analyze business operations and manage human, financial and physical resources in order to achieve the goals and objectives the business
