Supervisory Management focuses on management concepts and theories that influence supervision today and provides participants with practical knowledge of employment laws and supervisory skills. This course is designed to introduce the basic principles of managing at the supervisory level and highlighting its effectiveness in modern business practices. The skills and competencies gained will enable the supervisor to execute motivational and leadership roles and enhance his or her ability to deal effectively with performance problems, manage workflows, and develop teamwork.
The purpose of this course is to provide an opportunity for participants to develop the skills required for understanding higher-level business studies and workplace entry-level competencies, and for dealing with human problems within the organization. It covers elements such as communication, motivation, discipline, negotiation, conflict management, team building and leadership and the functions and responsibilities of supervisors.
